Dr. Adam Wolfberg is the chief medical officer at Ovia Health, a digital health company based in Boston, MA, and he practices obstetrics at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Dr. Wolfberg has worked with companies in the device, diagnostics, and health technology sectors. While in academia, his fetal EKG research was funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and by several foundations. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and speaks widely. His medical non-fiction writing has appeared in slate.com, the New England Journal of Medicine, wsjonline.com, Newsweek, and the Boston Globe. His first book, Fragile Beginnings, was published in February 2012. Dr. Wolfberg received his MD and MPH from Johns Hopkins. He trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, and in maternal-fetal medicine at Tufts Medical Center.
